NEW YORK—Christie’s has appointed Andrea Crane and Paul Jenkins as senior vice presidents of its Impressionist and modern department. Crane will focus on New York evening sales and also furnish support for London auctions. As director of business development, Jenkins will help specialists on both the buyer and seller sides.

Crane has spent the last two years as director of the Jan Krugier Gallery, New York, and has worked for such auction houses as Sotheby’s, Phillips and Villa Grisebach during the past decade. Jenkins had previously spent six years at Christie’s (1993-99) as international business director for the Impressionist and modern department and vice president for marketing. After leaving Christie’s in 1999, he cofounded the market research firm Genius Insight.
