Amy Gold to Christie’s Board

On Sept. 12, Christie’s appointed Amy Gold as deputy chairman, Christie’s Americas, and announced her election to the board of directors.

NEW YORK—On Sept. 12, Christie’s appointed Amy Gold as deputy chairman, Christie’s Americas, and announced her election to the board of directors. Since 2002 Gold has served as senior vice president and director of business development for Christie’s Americas.

Christie’s said that Gold will continue in her role as senior vice president. Previously she was Christie’s midwest director, based in Chicago.

Gold began her career at the Art Institute of Chicago, first as a researcher in the department of European decorative arts and later as a specialist in the architecture department.
