The Gagosian Gallery has appointed Pablo Picasso biographer John Richardson as an international adviser, according to director Valentina Castellani.

NEW YORK—The Gagosian Gallery has appointed Pablo Picasso biographer John Richardson as an international adviser, according to director Valentina Castellani.

The Manhattan gallery also is taking over additional space at its 980 Madison Avenue location, where it will turn the entire fourth floor into offices and additional exhibition space for 20th-century art.

“We are thrilled that John Richardson has joined the Gagosian Gallery,” Castellani told ARTnewsletter. “His unique and unmatchable expertise will bring further depth to our projects regarding Picasso and modern art.”
