AIPAD Elects Bulger As New President

The Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) announced that dealer Stephen Bulger has been elected to a two-year term as the organization's president, beginning the first of this year.

NEW YORK—The Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) announced that dealer Stephen Bulger has been elected to a two-year term as the organization’s president, beginning the first of this year. Bulger, who has been a member of AIPAD for the past decade, opened the Stephen Bulger Gallery, Toronto, in 1994, and has served on AIPAD’s board since 2001.

AIPAD also announced the addition of seven new member galleries, including Andrea Meislin Gallery; Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery; Foley Gallery and Sepia International, all in Manhattan. The other new members are Fifty One Fine Art Photography, Antwerp; Galeria Vasari, Buenos Aires; and Janet Sirmon, Brooklyn, N.Y.

The association also elected new officers to serve with Bulger: Chicago dealer Catherine Edelman was elected first vice president; New York dealer Deborah Bell was elected second vice president; Warrenton, Va. dealer Jo Tartt Jr. was elected secretary; and Kraige Block of Throckmorton Fine Art, New York, was elected treasurer.

New AIPAD board members include David Barenholtz, Culver City, Calif.; Henry Feldstein, Forest Hills, N.Y., George Hemphill, Washington, D.C., and Lisa Sette, Scottsdale, Ariz.

AIPAD’s annual photography show is scheduled for March 26–29 at the Park Avenue Armory in New York.
