Camille Henrot Won the Nam June Paik Award

Camille Henrot has won the 2014 Nam June Paik Award and Manuel Graf has won the Nam June Paik Newcomer Award, both of which were chosen this year by jurists Thomas Y. Levin and Dirk Snauwaert. The award was based on work installed by the shortlisted artists in an exhibition at Kunstmuseen Krefeld.

Henrot will receive a stipend of about $32,000. Henrot, who is based in New York, was recently the subject of an exhibition at the New Museum of four recent videos including Grosse Fatigue, which won the Silver Lion at the 55th Venice Biennale.
