More and more we’ve seen Christie’s and Sotheby’s entering the market for younger artists, traditionally the domain of Phillips auction house, and Christie’s upcoming Post-War and Contemporary day sale in London on February 12 is no different. In fact, there are three works by artists who have never before been seen at auction!

There’s Darren Bader’s conceptual commentary on this phenomenon (which we’ve written about before), with the hilarious estimate of $9,048 – $633,360, there’s Chris Succo’s Use Your Illusion #3 (2014), estimated to sell for $9,048 – $12,064, and Will Boone’s Hoax (2014) (estimate: $10,556–$15,080).

All these artists were born after 1978. Gonna be fascinating to watch!
