Pictures at an Exhibition presents images of one notable show every weekday.

Today’s show: “Detroit Affinities: Jamian Juliano-Villani,” which was on view at the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit through March 29, 2015. Curated by Jens Hoffmann, MOCAD’s senior curator at large, it was Juliano-Villani’s first one-person museum show, and brought together a solid trove of her paintings from the last few years. The Brooklyn-based artist opens a show at JTT in New York on April 18.
