For its first round of artist grants in New York, the nonprofit organization Artadia announced that it is giving prizes to all 10 of its finalists. This is also the first time they’ve given all of their finalists grants.

Park McArthur and Georgia Sagri are receiving unrestricted grants of $10,000 each. Yevgeniya Baras, Joe Fyfe, Donna Huanca, Bill Jenkins, Jennie Jieun Lee, Eric Mack, Sara Magenheimer, and Kameelah Rasheed are receiving $5,000 each.

The jurors making the decision were Matthew Higgs, the director and chief curator of White Columns in New York, John Rasmussen, the executive director of Midway Contemporary Art in Minneapolis, and Ingrid Schaffner, the curator of the 57th Carnegie International.

Artadia has in the past given grants to artists all over the country, including those in Houston, Chicago, and Los Angeles.
