Pictures at an Exhibition presents images of one notable show every weekday.

Today’s show: “Ni Haifeng: Asynchronous, Parallel, Tautological, et cetera…” is on view at Pearl Lam Galleries in Hong Kong until Wednesday, September 2. The solo exhibition, which presents work from the 1980s to today by the Chinese artist, brings together photographs and installations that investigate the ideas of personal experience versus a master history, the psychological impact of colonization, and Hong Kong’s unique position in these realms.
