Here’s the 2016 Pulse New York Exhibitor List

The Pulse Contemporary Art Fair has released the exhibitor and programming lists for its eleventh edition in New York, which will be held once again at the Metropolitan Pavilion from March 3 through March 6.

Galleries from four continents will show in two categories, Pulse and Points. The former includes established and emerging galleries from Europe, Africa, North America, and South America, offering solo or multi-artist booths, while the latter is reserved for alternative spaces, nonprofits, and first-time exhibitors. Additionally, Pulse’s Conversations series, which premiered during the fair’s 2015 Miami Beach edition, is set to return, giving galleries the curatorial opportunity to visually and conceptually synthesize the work and practices of two artists they represent.

The fair will also offer programming in the way of panel discussions, platforms for new media and video works, a cash prize given to an artist featured in a solo exhibition, and special projects by Yumi Janairo Roth, Mia Taylor, and Macon Reed.

Pulse’s director, Helen Toomer, said in a statement,

“As Pulse evolves, we remain committed to the elements that define the fair, such as our welcoming atmosphere, communicative focus and rich programming. We enjoy curating an overall experience that champions the discovery of new artworks while supporting our exhibitors and connecting them with an engaged audience.”
