The fifth edition of Frieze New York opens to the public on Thursday, May 5, with a preview day on Wednesday, May 4. The fair, which is divided into five sections including a public works section, will bring together 202 galleries from 31 countries to Randall’s Island Park, located in the East River. Among the highlights are Mai-Thu Perret at Los Angeles’s David Kordansky Gallery, Liu Shiyuan at Shanghai’s Leo Xu Projects, and David Wojnarowicz at New York’s P.P.O.W.
