Days after it was reported that a dozen staffers at online auction house Paddle8 had left or been laid off following the company’s merger with Auctionata, two more senior staffers will be leaving the company, ARTnews has learned.

Those adding their names to the list of departures are chief marketing officer Susan Cernek, and Sarah Goulet, head of communications.

The departures are another hit to the marketing and public relations teams at Paddle8. The exits confirmed last week included Sarah Hanson, the editorial director, who oversaw the magazine-style stories that acted as ad copy for online sales. Two editorial staffers left as well.

Paddle8 founder Alexander Gilkes announced Goulet’s departure earlier this morning. She had spent three years at the company, having come from Pace Gallery. Cernek spent two years at Paddle8, having come from the fashion company Madewell.

Sources say more departures are forthcoming as Paddle8 adjusts to the merger with Auctionata.
