More Than 60 Artists Will Participate in Sharjah Biennial 13

Today, the Sharjah Art Foundation announced the list of more than 60 artists participating in what it is terming “Act I” of the next Sharjah Biennial, number 13, which runs March 10–June 12, 2017. Those artists are:

Sharjah Biennial 13 is being curated by Christine Tohme, the director of the nonprofit arts-support organization Ashkal Alwan, and extends beyond Sharjah, with programs also on tap for Dakar, Ramallah, Istanbul, and Beirut in response to four thematic keywords: water, crops, earth, and culinary.
