Today’s show:Taiwan Biennial 2016: The Possibility of an Island” is on view at the National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts in Taipei through Sunday, February 5. The fifth edition of the biennial, which was founded in 1992, seeks to “examine how contemporary Taiwanese artists go about witnessing the changes and shifts unfolding in this era and how art is used to depict the present, future, and past of this island,” according to the show’s release. The exhibition is curated by Wu Dar-Kuen and Lin Hsiao-Yu.
