For its upcoming seventh edition, the NADA New York art fair will move slightly south, to the ground floor of Skylight Clarkson Sq. in West SoHo. As with last year’s fair, the 2018 edition of NADA New York will be held during Armory Week (which will be two weeks this year, as it turns out), from March 8 to 11.

At 60,000 square feet, Skylight Clarkson Sq.’s ground floor is smaller than Skylight Clarkson North, the Hudson Square venue where last year’s NADA New York was held, and where the upcoming edition of the Collective Design Fair will be staged. (These are, in fact, two different buildings located down the street from one another.) The fair’s new address, at 550 Washington Street, puts it a short drive from the Armory Show, which is held annually at Piers 92 and 94.

“NADA is dedicated to producing a distinctive New York art fair in March, and we are looking forward to developing a new environment for exhibitors in the pristine studios at Skylight Clarkson Sq,” Heather Hubbs, NADA’s executive director, said in a statement. “As an alliance of professionals working to stage and support contemporary art, we are always creating unique opportunities to assist galleries, and engage the larger community with cultural programming.”

As part of the upcoming fair, NADA will roll out a new prize in addition to its annual NADA International Gallery Prize and NADA Artadia Award. One gallery in the fair’s Projects section, which typically showcases less established spaces, will be invited to show at the fair’s 2019 New York edition in a sponsored booth in its main sector.
