The Brooklyn Museum has added three new members to its board of trustees: Terrence P. Laughlin, Susana Torruella Leval, and Amanda Waldron.
Laughlin is vice chairman of the Bank of America Corporation and part of the company’s executive management team. Torruella Leval was previously the director of El Museo del Barrio in the New York from 1994 to 2002, and was later named director emerita by El Museo’s board when she stepped down. Waldron was previously a private equity investor with a focus on the healthcare industry.
With these additions, the board has grown to 40 trustees. Barbara Vogelstein, who was elected chairman of the board last summer, said in a statement, “We are delighted to welcome Terry, Susana, and Amanda to the Museum’s Board. They bring a wealth of expertise, and we know they will help guide the Museum to even greater heights.”
