Pictures at an Exhibition presents images of one notable show every weekday.

Today’s show: “Genre-Nonconforming: The DIS Edutainment Network” is on view at the de Young in San Francisco through Sunday, June 10. The exhibition is a newly commissioned project for the museum that puts a dystopian spin “on the future of education—decentralized and open access, yet communal and physically connected,” according to a release. The cartoons, films, documentaries, and talk shows by DIS and its collaborators are shown on 36 screens in the installation.
