The New York–based auction house Doyle has promoted Laura Doyle and Joanne Porrino Mournet to the roles of CEO and president, respectively. Kathleen Doyle, who has served as the company’s CEO for 25 years, will take up the role of chairman.

Laura Doyle is the youngest daughter of William Doyle, the founder of the house. She has worked at the company for nearly 20 years, beginning her career in client services and later becoming director of the jewelry department. In her role as vice chairman, Laura Doyle expanded Doyle’s network of representatives and, in 2016, she established Doyle’s online-only Hayloft Auctions division.

Mournet has held senior positions at the company for over 25 years, most recently serving as executive vice president and executive director of estate and appraisal services. As president, she will continue working as Doyle’s senior liaison with banks and law firms.

Kathleen Doyle said in a statement, “Laura Doyle and Joanne Mournet are experienced and accomplished business professionals who will continue to advance the expansion of Doyle while adhering to our core values of integrity, expertise and service. I am delighted to be working alongside this dynamic team leading us into the future!”

Mournet added, “Doyle is privileged to bring to auction property from distinguished collections and prominent estates throughout the year. Together with our team of specialists and regional representatives, I look forward to expanding our relationships with the national trusts and estates community while maintaining the level of excellence that our clients rely on.”
