After graduating from Yale Law School in 1990, Joseph Tsai began his career working at a New York law firm. A few years later, he pivoted to private equity and co-founded Alibaba Group, a global e-commerce firm where he serves as executive vice chair. The multi-billion dollar company has offices all over the world, with a corporate campus in Hangzhou, China. Clara Tsai has worked as a business analyst at American Express Travel Related Services and as an advisor to Taobao, China’s largest online retailer.
