Frank Huang is the chairman of Powerchip Semiconductor, a maker of memory chips that also provides foundry services to its customers. In 2008, Forbes reported that Huang had given more than $3 million to charity in the previous year. He is the creator of the Jensan Foundation, which has in the past brought performers like the New York Philharmonic Orchestra, Placido Domingo, and a Russian ballet to his home country of Taiwan.
