The businesswoman Lauren Powell Jobs was the wife of the late Steve Jobs, the iconic co-founder of the Apple computer company. After her husband’s passing, Powell Jobs inherited his massive fortune, which is now estimated at around $14 billion. Although Powell Jobs is the founder of the Emerson Collective, a nonprofit with a focus on education and social justice, she has kept room in her life for contemporary art. In 2018, she wrote an essay about the French street artist JR for Time magazine.
