Raymond J. McGuire is one of the “Top 75 African Americans on Wall Street,” according to Black Enterprise, and an “immaculate dresser,” according to the New York Times. Known for collecting work by black artists, McGuire is an investment banker who, when not working in the financial sector, serves on the boards of the Whitney Museum, the Studio Museum in Harlem, and the International Center of Photography. His collection includes work by Glenn Ligon, Carrie Mae Weems, Malick Sidibé, Gary Simmons, and Lorna Simpson, among others.
