As chief executive of the TV channel BSkyB, Mark Booth altered the British media scene. He then took to the airplane business, joining the airline NetJets as its co-chairman. Booth and his wife Lauren made news in 2014 when they donated James Turrell’s Gard Blue (1968) to the Spencer Museum of Art at Kansas University, Mark’s alma mater. They live in Roxbury, Connecticut, in a house filled with contemporary art, including works by Ellsworth Kelly, David Hockney and Andy Warhol, according to the New York Post. Their predilection for art goes beyond simply collecting: Lauren is herself an artist.
