Thanks to their elaborate patterned cut-outs and trendy fringe, the eight Andre-the-Giant-sized black T-shirts mounted on the gallery walls draw the most attention in L.A.-based Amanda Ross-Ho’s latest show. The key to this exhibition, “Gone Tomorrow,” however, can be found via close inspection of the four framed sections of Sheetrock extracted from the artist’s studio, which sport tiny photos of Yoko Ono’s performance Cut Piece (1964) and magazine clippings of models wearing cut-out clothing and bathing suits.
