Charlemagne Palestine is an experimentalist extraordinaire and veritable guru to the New York art world. This long overdue solo exhibition features the teddy bear enthusiast’s iconic stuffed animal sculptures as well as a number of ’70s performance videos that oscillate between cathartic psychedelic freakouts and haunting confessionals.
