This six-decade survey of Charles Hinman’s abstract, hard-edge painting/sculpture hybrids fills Marc Straus’s ample two-floor space. In 2012 the artist, now in his early 80s, had a show of new work at the gallery; this presentation juxtaposes his early shaped canvases with his striking, prismlike constructions from the past few years.
