Paris will be the place to build your outsider art collection next month.
In June, three months after the Outsider Art Fair’s successful New York outing, Wide Open Arts (the company, owned by dealer Andrew Edlin, which purchased the fair the previous fall) announced that it was organizing a Paris edition. The company has now announced the list of participants.
From Oct. 24-27, 25 international galleries from as far away as Tokyo (Yukiko Koide Presents) and Seattle (Chris Byrne + Marquand Books) will take over the high-end Hotel Le A, two blocks from the Champs Élysées. The fair will coincide with FIAC (Foire Internationale d’Art Contemporain).
