Expo Chicago has announced the participating galleries for the second annual International Exposition of Contemporary and Modern Art (Sept. 19-22) at Navy Pier’s Festival Hall. Expo Chicago president and director Tony Karman revealed the list of 120 galleries, hailing from 16 countries and 35 cities globally.
“We are extremely proud of the international galleries and artists that will be participating in our second edition,” Karman said in a press release. “This exceptional list of dealers represents a broad survey of leading contemporary and modern artwork, furthering our pledge to produce an exposition that adds to the rich cultural legacy of our city.” A special section of the fair, entitled Exposure, will showcase 18 newer galleries that have been in business seven years or less.
