Kiev’s Pinchuk Art Centre has announced its nominees for the Future Generation Art Prize.
Established by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, the $100,000 prize is an award for artists under the age of 35. Out of 4,200 applicants from 134 countries in an open process, a selection committee chose 20 artists representing 16 countries. The 21st nominee was the 2011 winner of the Pinchuk Art Centre Prize, an award given to young Ukrainian artists.

An exhibition featuring the nominated artists will open Oct. 27 at the Pinchuk Art Centre. The winner will be announced Dec. 7.
