Ingrid Calame’s show “Tracks” includes a couple of oil-on-aluminum paintings, but the stars are undoubtedly her two gallery-spanning pounced wall drawings. Using the Renaissance-era image-transfer technique of forcing (in this case) colored powdered pigment through a perforated template onto the wall, Calame layers tracings of tire tracks from the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (in the front gallery); in the back are replicas of poster-size number stencils the artist saw on the floor of a steel factory in Buffalo.
