Kristen Morgin’s fascination with nostalgia-inducing childhood objects—comic books, toys, old records, books and magazines—runs deep. All of the vintage-looking pieces in the L.A.-based ceramicist’s show “The Super Can Man and Other Illustrated Classics” are made of unfired clay, convincingly painted to look worn down and lovingly handled, as if pulled from a dusty box in the basement or plucked from a stranger’s rummage sale.
