Bridget Finn.
New York gallery Mitchell-Innes & Nash has made two additions to its staff.
Bridget Finn has been appointed co-director of the contemporary program at the gallery’s Chelsea location; Cassandra Lozano will join the Madison Avenue gallery as director of artists’ estates. Estates represented by the gallery include those of Jack Tworkov and Alberto Burri.
Finn previously worked at New York’s Independent Curators International (ICI), where she served as associate director of strategic planning. Prior to joining ICI, she worked at New York’s Anton Kern Gallery, and she co-founded and curates Cleopatra’s, a non-commercial art space in Brooklyn that opened in 2008. Finn joins co-director Nicole Russo, who has been associate director at the gallery since 2011. The pair will replace former director Jay Gorney, who left the gallery last month.
Lozano comes to Mitchell-Innes & Nash from New York’s Roy Lichtenstein Foundation, where she has worked for 22 years. She initially served as Lichtenstein’s studio manager, and has been managing director of the estate and foundation since 1999.
