New Orleans’s biennial returns this fall with its ambitious third edition (Oct. 25, 2014-Jan. 25, 2015). “Prospect.3: Notes for Now,” organized by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s head contemporary art curator Franklin Sirmans, brings together 58 established and emerging artists, ranging from Pritzker prize-winning architect Shigeru Ban, up-and-comers Lucien Smith and Camille Henrot, and even Post-Impressionist master Paul Gauguin. The biennial will take place at 15 venues throughout the city and offer a number of commissioned, site-specific projects.
