Last chance to see “Secession Secession,” a quirky installation about the artifice of studio photography curated by artist Colby Bird. The photos Bird selected-all framed-rest atop a narrow wooden shelf that snakes along the gallery’s walls at waist height. The Surrealist-inspired, modestly scaled images come together in a surprisingly cohesive way, considering Bird had nearly a dozen artists to work with, both contemporary and mid-century, color and black and white.
