Having emerged from the East Village scene in the 1980s, painter and writer Walter Robinson returns to his roots here in this intimate show of fast-food still lifes, fantasy girlfriends and other subjects of desire. Despite the flagrant nods to Pop art and kitsch, the smallish paintings and works on paper here feel deeply personal.
