Fair season in New York is nearly here. March 5 to 8, the Pulse New York fair will take place at the the Metropolitan Pavilion in Chelsea, 125 West 18th Street, with more than 40 national and international exhibitors. Eighty percent of those galleries will be showing three or less artists, as part of director Helen Toomer’s efforts to streamline the fair. Pulse runs this year at the same time as New York’s Armory Show. Last year it took place in May during the third edition of Frieze New York.
