It may still be October, but here we are, talking about a fair that takes place halfway around the world from New York, all the way out in the tail end of March—that’s right, Art Basel Hong Kong 2017 now has an exhibitor list. The fifth edition of the fair will bring together 241 galleries from 34 countries, and place them in sectors such as Galleries, Insights, Discoveries, and, for the first time this year, the Kabinett sector, which has been featured previously at Art Basel Miami Beach.
There are some Art Basel Hong Kong newcomers on the list, including Galerie Buchholz, König Galerie, Project Native Informant, Clearing, Luxembourg & Dayan, and Various Small Fires.
There are also ten new galleries from Asia. The fair takes place at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre March 23–25.
