The 2016 edition of Frieze Masters, the companion fair to Frieze London (a preview of its offerings is here) focusing on art and objects from the ancient era to the late 20th century, opens Thursday, October 6 and runs through Sunday, October 9. VIPs—and journalists—can visit today. The fifth edition of the fair brings 133 exhibitors from 30 countries to London. Among the highlights are Michelangelo Pistoletto at Italy’s Tornabuoni Art and James Rosenquist at Paris’s Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac in the main section, as well as Bill Walton at Philadelphia’s Fleisher/Ollman and Mrinalini Mukherjee at Mumbai’s Jhaveri Contemporary in the Spotlight section.
