Sean Kelly gallery in New York has added four new partners. Cecile Panzieri, who has worked at Sean Kelly for the past 20 years, has been appointed senior partner, while Janine Cirincione, Lauren Kelly, and Thomas Kelly have all been named partners. (Lauren and Thomas are the eponymous gallery founder’s children.)
In a statement, Sean Kelly told ARTnews, “I’ve built the business to the point where I felt it was a good idea to bring partners in who have a vested interest in furthering the business. . . . Two of the newly appointed partners are my children, but all of them are my professional family. I could not be more proud to have such distinguished Partners.”
Kelly also said that his gallery will inaugurate its branch in Taipei, Taiwan, later this month. The project space, which was first announced in September of last year, will open alongside the first edition of the Taipei Dangdai art fair.
