COURTESY ARTS WRITERS GRANT PROGRAM
The Arts Writers Grant Program announced its 2015 recipients on its website this week. Among this year’s winners are New York Times critic Martha Schwendener and novelist Lynne Tillman.
Co-supported by Creative Capital and the Andy Warhol Foundation, Arts Writers Grants are given annually to critics, novelists, and scholars who work with contemporary art, which the program defines as being art made after World War II. Awards are given in four categories: articles, blogs, books, and short-form writing.
