Yesterday the Los Angeles County Art Museum received an anonymous donation of some 50 artworks valued at about $500 million, “the largest gift of art to LACMA in its history.” Today, The New York Times reports that the donor is in fact A. Jerrold Perenchio, the former head of Univision.
