Andrea Rosen, who runs two eponymous galleries on West 24th Street in Chelsea, has named four new partners in her business: Trina Gordon, Teneille Haggard, Cory Nomura, and Samantha Sheiness. Gordon has been a director at the gallery since 2013 and focuses on client relations; Haggard has worked at Andrea Rosen since 2006 and leads the Artist Liaison Department; Nomura, who also joined the gallery in 2006, was named a director in 2012, and works with the estate of Felix Gonzalez-Torres; Sheiness has been a director at the gallery since 2012 and deals primarily with sales and scholarly research.
Rosen recently celebrated her 25th anniversary in the art dealing business. On view at the galleries until June 18 is a solo show by Ketuta Alexi-Meskhishvili, at the 544 West 24th Street location, and a Gonzalez-Torres exhibition at 525 West 24th, one part of a three-pronged exhibition that also includes shows at Massimo De Carlo in Milan and Hauser & Wirth in London.
