After eight years at the helm of the Carnegie Museum of Art in Pittsburgh, Lynn Zelevansky is leaving the institution. At the CMOA, Zelevansky organized retrospectives of Paul Thek and Hélio Oiticica, in 2010 and 2016, respectively. No date for her last day has been announced.
“Carnegie Museum of Art is a great institution, and I’m extremely proud of the many significant contributions we’ve been able to make over my eight years here,” Zelevansky said in a statement. “I am most appreciative of the hard work of the fabulous CMOA team and I wish everyone the best of luck going forward.”
Zelevansky joined the museum from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, where she was curator and department head of contemporary art.
