For the James Bond completist: next month, Christie’s will host “Spectre – The Auction,” a sale of 007-related wares, including a watch and a pair of sunglasses Daniel Craig wore in last year’s Bond installment Spectre, a laptop used by gadget guy Q, and even an Aston Martin DB10, which was designed for the film.
Ten lots will go on the block at Christie’s London February 18, while the other 14 will be auctioned off through online bidding in the days before. Proceeds will benefit charities such as Médecins sans Frontières, the United Nations Mine Action Service, and others.
A press release states that estimates have the Tom Ford sunglasses going for £4,000 to £6,000 ($5,700 to $8,500), the Omega Seamaster 300 watch going for £15,000 to £20,000 ($21,000 to $28,000) and the pair of Tom Ford cufflinks—monogrammed “JB”—going for £3,000 to £5,000 ($4,200 to $7,100).
The Aston Martin will lead the sale, and it’s estimated to go for somewhere between £1 million and £1.5 million ($1.4 to $2.3 million). But don’t expect to whip around London in the thing, or take a nice drive out to your family’s ancestral castle in Scotland. The fine print states that the car is “for static display purposes only and not as a means of transport.”
