Russian power couple Roman Abramovich and Dasha Zhukova have separated. After a decade together, the couple confirmed the news by way of the New York Post’s Page Six, saying their split was “amicable.”
According to a Forbes report in 2016, Abramovich has a net worth of $10.7 billion. He and Zhukova, who have appeared together on the ARTnews Top 200 Collectors list, co-founded Moscow’s Garage Museum of Contemporary Art and the New Holland Island cultural center in St. Petersburg. In a statement, the couple said they will continue to jointly raise their two children and work together to keep running both institutions.
Abramovich owns the high-profile English soccer team Chelsea F.C. Zhukova started Garage Magazine, sits on the board of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, and is a founding partner of Artsy.
