Converge 45, an art festival in Portland, Oregon, has announced the group of artists, curators, and organizations set to participate in its upcoming second edition. Jennifer Steinkamp, Jim Hodges, and Catherine Opie are among the 24 artists who will have work on view as part of the program.
All of the participants will respond to “You in Mind,” a framework put together by Converge 45’s artistic director, Kristy Edmunds. Programming will be spread across venues around Portland, including the Portland Art Museum and the Disjecta Contemporary Art Center.
While Converge 45 has no set dates, its sprawling programming will largely be centered around a four-day period of events, held throughout Portland from August 9 to 12. Details for each show follow below.
