Pictures at an Exhibition presents images of one notable show every weekday.
Today’s show: “Fotos y Recuerdos: Works by Crystal Galindo,” is currently on view at Studio Grand in Oakland, California until the end of April. The exhibition offers large-scale paintings by Galindo, whose work synthesizes indigenous and Chicano iconography as a way to depict a diverse range of proud, powerful Chicana women.
