Director Darren Aronofsky will be the speaker at the New Museum’s Stuart Regen Visionaries Series, the museum announced today. He will appear in conversation with the novelist Lynne Tillman at the museum on September 30.
Aronofsky’s films include Requiem for a Dream, The Wrestler, Black Swan, and (most recently) the biblical retelling Noah. Tillman’s most recent book is the essay collection What Would Lynne Tillman Do?
The New Museum’s Visionaries Series has previously featured the likes of Jimmy Wales, founder of Wikipedia; chef and author Alice Waters; and Matthew Weiner, the creator of Mad Men.
