The Museum of Contemporary Art, Chicago announced today that Dimitris Daskalopoulos and Nickol Hackett joined its board of trustees on October 31. Daskalopoulos, an ARTnews Top 200 collector, is the founder and member of the board of the Greek investments firm DAMMA Holdings SA, while Hackett is the executive director and chief investment officer of the Cook County Pension Fund of Illinois.
“We are thrilled to welcome these two outstanding individuals to the MCA board,” Anne Kaplan, the chair of the MCA Chicago board of trustees, said in a statement. “They bring an exemplary level of experience, commitment, and leadership to the board that will continue to make the MCA prosper as a leading and innovative contemporary art museum.”
