This January marks the second time the Untitled art fair, which has been popping up in Miami Beach each December since 2012, will stage a show in San Francisco, that burgeoning market hub. This time around, there are 47 exhibitors from nine countries for a fair to run January 12-14, 2018, at the city’s Palace of Fine Arts.
One prominent newcomer is David Zwirner gallery, which, unlike fellow blue chippers Gagosian and Pace, has no brick-and-mortar outpost in San Francisco. The Zwirner booth will be showing work by Oscar Murillo.
In a statement, fair director Manuela Mozo said, “We are very excited about the second edition of Untitled, San Francisco. With a great selection of exhibitors, exciting programming in collaboration with our non-profit and cultural institution partners, and a beautiful new venue, we are looking forward to continuing our commitment to the vibrant community to the Bay Area.”
